The hot tub outside , was awesomehas- very scenic views... convenient location to shops, easy to find
noise from train.
I like having a kitchen area to cook for my family. The room sizes are good and the space is functional and comfortable.
I wish the rooms had laundry facilities.
Location was quite good. Staff was quite useful and welcoming. We used the hot tub and everything was clean. The rooms were quite convenient and clean, The kitchen had al the essential dining tools. The wireless internet worked perfectly as well as the flat screen TV set.
The noise was too much the first night as the upstairs neighbors were noisy and the rooms were not properly sound proof. The other issue is that the hotel is close to the train tracks so one can hear well the freight trains which run about every 3 hours. Fortunately not most of the nights.
The Chalets is right at the center of the town and it is easy to find. It was a nice design.
The only draw back is the railway track by the Chalets. You can hear the train goes back all night long. Winter time is not too bad because the window is close, however, I am wondering summer time.....
The accomodation was clean and fit a family situation much better than the "average" hotel/motel room. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and I have already told many people about my experience.
There was not enough parking the night we stayed with you. I can see this as an ongoing problem due to the type of accomodation.
The design of the chalet was perfect for my family. I liked that the living area was downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs.
The location was right next to the train track which was not mentioned in the ad that I saw. My 3 year old was afraid to go to bed because the trains were so loud. Also the beds were extremely hard, all 3 of them. It felt like we may as well have been sleeping on the floor.
easy to book. confusing though over the advance payment - the booking forms said I would need to pay at the hotel but this was already taken from my visa. The hotel cleared this up for me without issue.
There were many dirty marks on the walls of my chalet (especially up the stairs) which could easily have been removed and would have made it so much nicer.
We like the location of the hotel which is near to eating places and shops. We also like the in-chalet facilities such as microwave oven, fridge, coffee maker, plates, cups and saucers, and even a dish washer. It is very comfortable and convenient for us.
Good value, location, and right size for my group
Parking space is cramped as is dining area
There were three bedrooms and a full kitchen, lounge room and dining area. Lots of room for a family.
There was a noisy train line outside the main bedroom with trains thuhndering past in the early hours of the morning. The matresses were very hard, we all found it hard to sleep. Great location outside Banff, very scenic but ask for a room not backing onto the train line.
location was great, very roomy, great for our family of five. Great price.
beds were not that great, and the trains were very lound.
convience of location and the space
futon was very uncomfortable needs new mattress & kitchen equipment was needed additions . More cutlery and cooking equipment, t towels and knives fryingpans etc.
I liked that it was walking distance to everything in town. It was a comfortable space for our family of four.
awesome hottub with view to mountain range
Be aware that there is a train passing by next to the hotel, that can be noisy, however for the price of the hotel it is OK.
The location was very good for us as was the facility, kitchen and single bedrooms with a door was nice.
I slept on the Futon, it really needs a new mattress.....very lumpy.....unkind to the back. Was concern when it rained that the wooden steps were rather slippery .
